MARITIMO CONTINUES TO GROW INTERNATIONAL NETWORK

Australian luxury cruiser manufacturer, Maritimo, continues to grow it’s international dealer network and it now has 47 dealers partners located in 15 countries representing the brand.

The most recent dealer partner to be appointed is the huge Silver Seas Yachts in the USA. Silver Seas and its affiliates have more than 20 locations throughout that country including California, Washington and Arizona. Maritimo’s International Sales and Marketing Manager, Greg Haines, said the company’s strategy was to increase its global awareness and sales significantly through the ever-expanding network.

“All our dealer partners are respected and successful operators in their own markets, and by adding the Maritimo brand to their overall offering they are enhancing their businesses and also growing ours,” he said.

Maritimo CEO Garth Corbitt said the global expansion plan was a crucial element of the company’s overall growth strategy.

“We will continue to have a sharp focus in Australia and New Zealand, but those markets have their limitations compared to what is possible on the world stage,” he said. “The dealer partners we have appointed have been selected through a rigorous review process, and they are all a good fit not only for our brand and our product but also with our business ethos. We are a quality company with a high quality product and we want to be represented by high quality people. In all instances thus far this has been achieved.”

Haines said the Maritimo dealer partner in Monaco, Craig Spencer of SpencerShip, had started to make sales after a period of laying the foundations. “Europe is just starting to bounce back in a significant way,” he said. “The USA is generally feeling positive under the Trump administration, and economically things have rallied since his election.

“In emerging markets such as South East Asia and the UAE we are seeing interest levels start to increase.”

Maritimo recently displayed a Maritimo M70 and M51 at the Singapore Yacht Show with great success, Haines said. “We received praise from both international dealers and competitor yacht builders alike, with numerous enquiries from dealers to represent Maritimo in other countries.”

Corbitt said Maritimo’s goal was to expand the dealer partner network to approximately double the current number of international representatives over a period of three years.

“A large percentage of our future growth will come from offshore and we have been laying the groundwork for that to occur,” he said.

Representatives of the international dealer network were at the Maritimo display at the recent Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
