MARITIMO ON SHOW TO THE WORLD

Australian luxury motoryacht manufacture Maritimo has an action packed three months ahead with a major presence at international boat shows stretching from Auckland, New Zealand to Annapolis in the USA.

The boat show bonanza will culminate with the company’s largest ever international display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from November 5 to 9.

Immediately following that, Maritimo Offshore Racing will again contest the World Offshore Powerboat Championships at Key West hoping to see a repeat of its win in 2012.

To say we have a busy three months coming up is a bit of an understatement,” said Maritimo’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Greg Haines.

The boat shows Maritimo are gearing up for include the Auckland International Boat Show (September 24 to 27), the Norwalk International Boat Show (September 18 to 21), the Annapolis International Boat Show (October 8 to 12) and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in early November.

The star of the Auckland show will be the new M65 cruising motoryacht which left the Gold Coast this week on its way ‘across the ditch’ to Auckland.

The boat just left and will take approximately five days to make the trip across to New Zealand,” said Mr Haines. “We expect it will attract a lot of interest with New Zealand boaties particularly after having travelled across,” he said.

The Norwalk and Annapolis boat shows will see the Maritimo M58 on display. Maritimo’s lead dealer in the USA Galati Yacht Sales will be co-ordinating the Maritimo displays at both shows.

Joe Galati and his team have an extensive network of contacts in the USA and their involvement with Maritimo has been very positive for us with increased sales and also an increased dealer network,” said Mr Haines.

He said the Fort Lauderdale show would be the climax for Maritimo. ” We have our largest display ever with four boats on show, an extensive owners and VIP social calendar, a post show owners’ muster planned and then the Key West World Championships so the name Maritimo will be highly visible over a number of weeks.

With several of our new models on display and all the activity we have planned we are confident we will enjoy strong sales.”

Mr Haines said the recent Sydney International Boat Show had resulted in multiple salesincluding the newly released M61 cruising motoryacht. “Our model range now includes a wide variety of both flybridge and sedan motor yachts so we have something for virtually everyone no matter what their boating preference,” he said.
